It may start with a slight ache on occasion. Without treatment, a minor toothache can become a big problem. It can go from a small abscess requiring antibiotics to a little crack needing a fill. If unattended, it could turn to a dead root requiring a root canal or crown. Save yourself the trouble and go to the dentist at the start of a toothache.

Red, Swollen, Bleeding, or Receding Gums

It is normal to see a bit of blood when brushing or flossing occasionally. If it becomes aggressive or excessive, bleeding can be a sign of gum disease. Bad Breath / Dry Mouth

Persistently bad breath can be a sign of gum disease or a cavity. Without treatment, both of those become more significant problems in the future.  The saliva in your mouth is needed to neutralize acids and prevent enamel damage. There are several ways to help with dry mouth that can be as simple as using a special mouthwash that is provided by a dentist.

Low Self-Esteem

If you have stained teeth from foods, noticeable decay, chipped or missing, see your dentist. If you’re not happy with your smile, they can help with that too! Talk to your dentist about correcting the issues you are having.
