Dr. Jake Shelburne originates from Snowville Virginia, a small country town in the New River Valley. He has known dentistry was for him ever since he broke his front tooth at 8 years old. Jake went on to graduate from Radford University and then received his DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021. After dental school, Dr. Shelburne completed a year long Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the Appalachian Highlands Community Dental Center. He has found a passion for comprehensive dental care and enjoys practicing all facets of dentistry, including dental implants. 

Outside of office hours Dr. Shelburne enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and all things outdoors.
